As your neighbor for the last several years, many people I've met have told me they feel anxious about their safety with the chaos they see around us. They don't feel confident that they could protect themselves or their family in the event of a civil crisis or a criminal act and they want to be better prepared to act...before something bad happens.
21 years in Naval Special Warfare and as a Land Warfare Instructor, I've instructed hundreds of men to shoot quickly and accurately, in the light and in the dark. I've also taught women how to feel more confident and comfortable with self-protection.
You have heard that it was said, "An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth. But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also." People misunderstand this. They think they gain "virtue" by being weak and defenseless. The only truthful way we can choose to turn the other cheek is if we are fully confident in our ability to protect ourselves and our families. If you're unable to protect yourself or your family, you're a victim waiting to be attacked.
